UNDER STAR BOLTED SKIES a collaboration with Graham Parker Artist

FURTHER POEMS ON POETRY PAGES 13 AND 14.

HORIZON FOREVER

Horizon prime that heaven’s maw.

Mix artist tears, thick oils…

with pigment ground by

eyes that reach, the

line of heart desire.

Draws down sky and sun cored

heat to cool in salt, these

saline deep-lit roiling seas.

But what I see is fusions might

as palette reaches yellow heat.

One million degrees.

And hydrogen dies

for helium's gain.

I watch sea birds

they wheel and skite,

to loose a single tear.

And I know that this,

is horizon forever, here.
